1How do I make a booking?
You can make a booking through Credit Card/Debit Card and via wire transfer. Please make sure you authorize your transaction from your bank beforehand. Note: Once all approvals are in place (i.e. Letter of Invitation + Visa etc)
2Can I pay cash on the day of the trip?
Due to the nature of the trip or activity you are selecting, we require payment upfront and in advance.
3Can I make a tentative booking without paying?
Unfortunately, this is not an option since our tour operators invest resources according to the number of people who have confirmed their spots in any particular activity and therefore payment must be made at the time of booking via any of the payment options listed.
4What is the refund policy in case of cancellation?
Varies across tours. Will be explained in detail on trip notes.

Payments

1Is payment through SailGarri secure?
SailGarri uses Easypay as the payment gateway. After checkout, you are redirected to Easypay's website for payment. Easypay is a reliable and trusted brand of Telenor Microfinance Bank. All the transactions are processing is done in SSL Secured environment. For more information, click here.
2Once I have made my booking via the "Cash Collection" option, how long will it take for my payment to be collected?
Our cash collection partner will be at your doorstep within 24 hours of you confirming your booking. He will be delivering an invoice upon which you will have to make the payment.
3I got an error while waiting for the Confirmation page to come up, what do I do?
Our credit/debit card bookings are secure and processed through Easypay. There may be some reasons why your credit card transaction will not go through. Please check the following and try your transaction again: There may be insufficient funds to cover the transaction being booked; You may not have filled out all the information fields requested. You may be choosing the incorrect card type. Please check that this is not the reason and try to complete your transaction again. If this has not answered your question then please Contact Us and we will be happy to help.
4What is the course of action if a vendor cancels a trip once payment has been made by the client?
We’ll try to find an alternate trip for you with the exact provisions, if that’s not an option, the amount will be refunded. The refund will be made to provided account within 7-10 working days.
5What is SailGarri payment terms with customers?
SailGarri works on prepayment basis and manages the payment between you and the tour operator. We collect 100% advance from the user and then transfer the agreed amount to the tour operator.
6How much time does the process of refund take at SailGarri?
It generally takes anywhere between 7 to 8 business days for us to refund the money back to you.

Miscellaneous

1What is 'SailGarri'?
In the case that you want a customized trip for yourself, your family or friends or cant find a suitable trip for yourself, leave your details in comments section on the home page. Our consultants will give you a call to get further details, will give their recommendations based on what you want and you will have your tailor made trip within 24 hours. The payment method remains the same once your trip is finalized.
2Can I rate my experience after a trip?
Yes, please visit our website and the page for the trip that you took. You will find the review tab at the bottom of the page.
3Will there be people other than me and my friends at any particular trip?
In the case of a selected a pre-existing trip, there will be other people on the trip with you. In case of you booking the trip to its capacity there will be no other people on your trip. If you chose the option of Customized Trip this trip will be exclusively for you and the people who you chose to travel with.
4What is the refund policy in case of cancellation?
Varies by tour operator and will be mentioned in terms of use on the booking page.
5What is the course of action if services on a trip are not up to what has been listed on the website?
SailGarri lists all trip details on its website as per the information provided by the vendors. In the case any services/facilities are not as per the list provided on the SailGarri website, the customer can register a complaint with us and appropriate action will be taken. However, SailGarri, cannot take responsibility of handling any such situation during the duration of the trip and any such complaints can be registered with us after the trip is over. Our review system on the website also ensures that the customer can rate the vendor as per the quality of the trip experience.
6What is the policy if the customer wants to change the itinerary while on a trip?
Customized trips are tailored to the needs of the client. The client has full authority to change the plan whenever it is deemed necessary. Any extra charges will be borne by the client. For pre-existing tours that a customer is joining, the itinerary cannot be changed and is up to the vendor’s discretion.
7What happens if on a trip the customer does not like the hotels provided?
All the hotels on a customised trip are booked upon customer’s approval. In case the customer doesn't like the hotel on arrival it can be changed depending on availability and price. On a pre-existing tour, before booking a tour the customer can check hotels that the vendor provides on the trip page. These hotels are booked on the vendor's discretion and changing them on the customer's request is also on the vendor's discretion.
8What happens if the customer is not okay with the people he is traveling with on a group trip?
SailGarri is a marketplace for travel in Pakistan and is not responsible for this aspect of the trip and any problem that the customer may have with fellow travellers can be taken up with the vendor that is responsible for the trip.
9Who looks after me now?
Once you have paid your deposit and booked on that trip of a lifetime, you will be looked after by our Customer Operations team, who are responsible for all your travel arrangements until you depart. One of our experienced operations executives will be assigned to assist you in any way they can, and their name and contact details can be found at the bottom of your confirmation letter.
10Travel, Money and Currency
You will need to take enough money to cover the cost of meals not included in the trip cost and of drinks, tipping and other incidentals including shopping and optional activities. Advice on the amounts required and the best currency to take is given in the trip notes. All cities in Pakistan have ATM machines and this can be an ideal way to access cash abroad. In addition, credit cards are now very widely accepted, particularly in larger cities. Travellers cheques can also be useful in certain destinations, but are often time consuming and costly to exchange. 11Equipment hire
SailGarri offers a ‘local pick-up’ hire service for key items needed for altitude trekking in Pakistan. Normal hire items available for hire are down jackets and down sleeping bags, but other items may be mentioned in the trip notes. Prices vary, and are confirmed in the trip notes.
12Foreign Passport Holders Details
For many holidays we need your passport details and sometimes other personal information. This might be for registration with the local authorities or for border crossings. A number of airlines now also require full passport information. If your passport details change before travel, you must provide us with the new details.
13How far in advance do i need to book my trip?
There is no hard and fast guide, although some trips are popular and book up quickly. To ensure a place, you can simply pay a deposit at any time, and then pay the balance 8 weeks prior to departure. Also, be sure to allow yourself enough time to obtain visas and vaccinations where necessary.
14I'm travelling on my own - will everyone else on your group tours be in couples?
Although we get a fair amount of couples, the majority of our clients are single travellers. If you would like to avoid single supplements, we are happy to pair you with a same sex room companion for the trip. If there is no one available of the same sex as you, we will arrange a single room for you at no extra cost.

Safety & Security

1What is SailGarri background check on vendors?
All vendors go through background checks. A vendor must have executed minimum 10 trips before registering on SailGarri portal. Vendors should also have to provide three references for onboarding. Vendors must have a minimum rating of 4 out of 5 stars or equivalent (80% quality experience reviews) to register with SailGarri. Vendors provide SailGarri with team details and pictures along with their database.
2Do we allow weapons, drugs, alcohol on trips?
Weapons, drugs and alcohol are strictly prohibited on all SailGarri trips.
3What happens in case of Natural Event/Disaster?
In case of landslide and other natural hazards the tour leader (or the tour operator’s representative) will be deciding the plan of action keeping in mind the best interests of the group. If travellers are on a customised trip, they will be guided on the course of action by the guide on the trip or SailGarri personnel that are in touch with the traveler.
4What happens if there is a car break down during a trip?
In case of car breakdown on a customised trip, backup vehicle will be arranged in the shortest time possible. However while travelling in remote areas this may take some time and we will not be able to commit beforehand. In case of joining a pre-existing tour with a vendor, it is the vendor’s responsibility to arrange for a back up vehicle or repair the vehicle in use in the shortest timeframe possible.
5What happens if there is a security incident while on a trip that is booked through SailGarri?
SailGarri bears no responsibility of ensuring security on trips. We act as an intermediary to facilitate bookings. As a preventive measure, SailGarri vendors are vetted through a screening process that involves checking previous experience on organising safe and successful tours.
6Do SailGarri provide security to their customers?
SailGarri will provide security on customised trip upon customer’s request. Extra amount will be charged on the basis of number of security personnel. On operator trips booked through our website, SailGarri does not hold responsibility of providing security to customers. We act as an intermediary to facilitate the booking and are not responsible for providing security.
7What happens if on a trip the customer does not like the hotels provided?

9Do we provide security to corporate customers?
SailGarri will provide security corporate customers upon their request. Extra amount will be charged on the basis of the number of security personnel required. Any security measures taken by our partner vendors are based on their discretion and SailGarri does not bear any responsibility for this.
10What checks do we have in place as preventive measures for safety and security?
Knowing the travel landscape of Pakistan, we are aware of the safety and security situation and if any undue risk is foreseen then the travelers will be informed in advance or the trip will be cancelled. However, any unforeseen circumstances owing to political, religious or criminal activity will not be SailGarri responsibility
11Do we share a list of hospitals in the region where the customer is going?
List of hospitals are appended below by region. This is by no means an exhaustive list of hospitals and is meant to serve as a guidance to our customers in case of an untoward incident.
12If there is an injury of any nature while on any trip, what is the course of action?
In case of injury on a tour operator’s trip or a customised it is the responsibility of the operator to take necessary steps and take the injured traveller to the nearest medical facility. SailGarri holds no responsibility and acts as an intermediary to facilitate bookings.
13What are the checks on the drivers and hotels that we partner with in our customised tours?
We have a database of trusted drivers and hotels. Only SailGarri trusted hotels and drivers are used in provision of services. Driver details are provided to travellers before departure of trip including CNIC details.

Insurance

1What is our insurance policy?
SailGarri offers travel insurance that customers can add on to their travel package. We provide the travel insurance via our partners Adamjee Insurance Ltd. To avail travel insurance the customer can select it via the add ons when booking a trip. Travel policy details and terms and conditions are appended below.
